Our Testimonials

Trust. Respect. Compassion.

Better with age: partnering with you to support your care, your way, wherever you call home.

At Home Senior Care has been a wonderful resource for our family this year. Our family is grateful for the loving support that their caregivers have provided. We have worked together to find the perfect companionship care for my mom. The staff is knowledgeable, thorough, flexible, kind and very caring both towards mom and  us.

When issues have arisen, At Home Senior Care has been supportive and communicative and has worked with our family to resolve them.  It’s not easy to find solutions to the many aging  issues that come up when family lives a distance away from each other.  At Home Senior Care is making both mom’s life more comfortable and ours, too.  She is in her home, where she wants to be right now, and things are good.

“I would have never been able to care for my husband at home as long as I did without At Home Senior Care and Share the Care at my back. Your service was a Godsend and I can’t thank you enough.” - S

My father spent the last three years of his life living at home with my husband and me. We could not have done it without At Home Senior Care.  The administration and caregivers made us feel like we were their only clients.

My father’s care was seamless even towards the end of his life when he required 24 oversight. Caregivers were kind, thoughtful and extremely competent.

The staff from At Home Senior Care provided joy and purpose to my father during the last 3 years of his life.

“My caregiver does excellent work. She is efficient, quick and pleasant to have here in my home.” - A

My husband and I first worked with AHSC to provide part-time support for mild but progressive dementia.  Great care was taken, not just to understand our caregiving needs, but to help match our interests and enthusiasms, our preferences and habits, and our family vibe with the personalities, skills and experiences of prospective individual caregivers.

We had developed a very good rhythm when my husband was unexpectedly diagnosed with a terminal illness.  Melissa Morrison was immediately by our side, at the hospital, quickly and seamlessly working with us to transition my husband to full time hospice care at home.   A devoted team of around-the-clock caregivers was miraculously assembled, coordinating with hospice doctor and nursing staff.  They sensitively blended into our household, always helpful, never intruding, taking care, not just of my husband, but in so many ways, also of me.

Against all odds, my husband lived another 18 months with not a day of pain, surrounded by tenderness, affection, humor, and superb care.  I cannot recommend AHSC more highly — or thank them enough.

“Your help is a blessing to me.” - L

It is a blessing that we do not have a crystal ball to show us what the future will be. If we were to know what life had in store for us we probably would say ‘no thank you.’ I believe that is especially true when a loved one needs more help than we can personally provide.

As a stubborn Vermonter, when we were given the professional diagnosis for my wife’s condition and what the future was likely to be, I was sure I would be able to provide whatever my wife would need. After a few years, of trying to do the many tasks she required help with, I finally had to admit to others and to myself that we needed extra help.

I was very fortunate to have someone suggest I contact At Home Senior Care. From my very first visit and for the past nearly twelve months every person I have met with, talked with in the office, as well as those who provide the hands-on services have been refreshingly friendly, concerned and willing to ‘go the extra mile’ to assist my wife and I. I have been very thankful for the services At Home Senior Care folks have provided for my wife and me.

Therefore it is my privilege to provide a very positive recommendation to anyone considering At Home Senior Care for providing support for you and your family member.
