As the President of At Home Senior Care, Melissa leads the AHSC team, focusing on delivering the highest quality care for clients and their families and creating a positive and vibrant work environment for employees. Her ability to handle complex challenges, which she calls "tricky wickets," and find innovative solutions is a testament to her leadership. Melissa's commitment to strategic growth and community involvement has been recognized with the prestigious Paul Harris Rotary Award, a testament to her exemplary work in community service.
At AHSC, Melissa's daily routine is filled with meaningful interactions with staff and clients. She is deeply committed to these interactions, believing they can make a significant and positive difference. Melissa's ability to back up her beliefs with anecdotal and true tales makes her the best storyteller in the office!
Melissa was born and raised in Bennington and currently lives in Shaftsbury with her family. She is a graduate of the University of Vermont with a B.S. in Business Administration with coursework in Gerontology.
Outside of work, Melissa treasures time with her sons, Holden (19) and Henry (16), her labrador, Mack & Ruby and her cat, Slim. An outdoor enthusiast, she enjoys Nordic and downhill skiing, tennis, golf, hiking, and paddleboarding. She is currently a Board member of the Bennington Sports Foundation and volunteers to sport local sports programs of all ages. Melissa's passion for her work and love for her family and community shines through in everything she does.
